The Importance of Releasing Negativity

Do you tend to hold onto things that do not serve you? If we are honest, we all carry some old baggage. Yours may be a person, a negative experience, an emotion, or an area of insecurity. As we age and mature, life dictates that we prioritize self-care. The demands on our time and energy become greater. We have careers, spouses, children, extended family, and extracurricular activities that require our attention. Life is consistently busy, and prioritizing its demands is essential to maintaining self-care. Acknowledging and releasing negativity is a necessary component of self-care.


Today, I encourage you to release negativity from your life. Negativity blocks your blessings, serves as a distraction from productivity, and stifles creativity. Take the necessary steps to lay the baggage down. Do whatever it takes to restore your peace. Now is the time to be intentional. Lend your time and energy to things that affirm who you are and your purpose.

Think about the things you carry. Name the things that drain your energy and keep you bound. Whatever it is that no longer serves you…release it so you can ascend to the next level. In your next dimension, there is no room for baggage.
